Founded in 2007 by Aya Agaoka, Ayamé Socks explores innovative creation by working with experienced Japanese craftsmen. Once two-dimensional designs are transferred by the knitting machine, their surfaces enhanced with intricate depth, colour and textures. Here, this pair of flag socks are knitted from a soft cotton and nylon blend and boat a geometric pattern and texture throughout. A ribbed ankle cuff and reinforcements to the toe and heel complete this three quarter length, tonal pair with both form and function in mind.
